3 events into the 2012 season, and the championship positions are starting to take form.

There is still all to play for in the Orkney Motor Club's 2012 Championship, but with T Sutherland beginning to dominate the top step of the podium, the pressure is already on for a challenger to reel him in before it's too late.

With a good mix of competitor experience this year, it proves to be a great year of competition with plenty of scope for an experienced autotest competitor or a newcomer to make some real impact. As always, the key is to ensure a well turned out car (preferably with an operable handbrake), a cool head, and a clean execution of the tests. It sounds so simple.

Remember that as well as the Overall and Runner-Up Championship Trophies, there are also the Best Newcomer, Young Driver and Lady Driver awards up for grabs - not to mention the usual trophies for each event.
